Banka news: A police encounter took place late on Tuesday evening in Kalothar forest of Katoria police station area of ​​Banka district, in which the infamous Naxalite Ramesh Tuddu alias Tantua was killed by the STF with the help of Banka police during an encounter. This has been confirmed by Banka SP Upendra Nath Verma.

The accused was in other cases including Arms Act

It is being told that a reward of one lakh was declared on the notorious Naxalite Ramesh Tuddu. He had become the headache of the police of many police stations of Bihar and Jharkhand. He was accused in many other cases including Arms Act. A total of 11 cases have been registered against the deceased Naxalites in Jasidih police station in Deoghar district of Jharkhand besides Chandramandi in Jamui district of Bihar and Chakai police station.

He was also the area commander of the Naxalite organization in Jamui. A action has also been recovered from the deceased. The deceased Naxalite has been identified as Ramesh Tuddu alias Tetua, a 35 -year -old son of Matru Tuddu, a resident of Budhi Ghat under Katoria police station in Banka district.

According to the information, the STF was informed that the said Naxalite was hiding in the Kalothar forest, after which the police team led by Katoria police station in -charge Arvind Rai reached for raids. In this sequence, the Naxalites started firing after seeing the police in Budhi Ghat and Kalothar forest. Police also fired in retaliation.

Naxalite dies after being shot in chest and forehead

In this firing, the Naxalite died after being shot in the chest and forehead. After this, late in the evening, the police considered the Naxalite injured and brought to Katoria Referral Hospital for treatment, where doctors declared him dead after investigation. After the information, SP Upendranath Verma along with other police forces reached Katoria Referral Hospital and took stock of the situation.
