3 Delhi Premier League 2025 Wicketkeepers IPL Teams Will Be Tracking Ahead Of Auction – Cricket.com

The state T20 leagues have become a happy hunting ground for Indian Premier League (IPL) scouts, and the Delhi Premier League (2025) proved to be a great platform for fresh talents to appear. From Priyansh Arya to Digvesh Rathi and Prince Yadav, youngsters graduated from DPL and made a mark on the most prestigious T20 franchise league on planet earth.
With the 2025 season of the league beginning today, August 2, IPL scouts and their eyes would once be looking for such talents, and amongst them, wicketkeepers would be in great demand. Many teams could benefit from a solid wicketkeeper, so let’s look at three such keepers from DPL who will keep the scouts interested this season.

Krish is a promising young top-order batter and wicketkeeper for West Delhi Lions who scored 241 runs in eight innings at a solid average and strike rate of 30.13 and 126.2, respectively. He was one of the few batters to score a century in the last season, when he smashed 106 off just 68 deliveries against South Delhi Superstarz, showing that he is more than just an anchor batter and can accelerate.
He was also retained by West Delhi Lions after the last season, where he was bought for INR 7 Lakh.

Dalal had a brilliant 2024 season in the DPL for Purani Dilli 6 after being acquired for INR 10.5 Lakh, as he scored 178 runs at an average of 29.67 and a strike rate of 150.8. A middle-order for his team, Dalal is an immensely capable hitter of the ball, and he displayed elite temperament in some crucial chases last season. His knock of 59 in the chase against North Delhi Strikers reflected his ability.
With teams always on the lookout for solid middle and lower-middle order Indian batters in the IPL, a strong season here will hold Dalal in good stead for reaching the next level.

Bedi kept wickets in only two games last season for Purani Dilli 6 last season, but he shone with the bat, scoring 221 runs at an average of 44.2 and a stellar strike rate of 185.7. He was the key lower-order finisher for his team, and this season, where their marquee player Rishabh Pant won’t be around, he might even get to keep the wickets as the main wicketkeeper for his side.
He was already picked by Chennai Super Kings last season for his explosive batting in the league, and the scouts will keep a keen eye on his performances just in case he is available for selection in the auction once again. There will also be an option to trade him, which would depend on CSK, but through this route, a better deal can come the youngsters’ way from a team that can assure him of a few games in the IPL.
