AMCA is India’s 5.5 generation fighter jet, which will fill its first flight by the year 2028. He said that selective features of 6th generation fighter jet will be in it. He also says that fighter jets of other countries will not be as capable and advanced as AMCA. He said that AMCA shows the clear picture of India’s ambitions, while the things that the US, China and European are talking about their 6th generation aircraft are not seen at the ground level, it shows how much difference between their ambitions and reiity.

The official said that the US and China have the highest discussion to develop 6th generation weapons, which promise long distance capabilities, but they are seen staggering on that benchmark. He has not yet been able to perform the functional variable cycle engine (VCE), which is the most important for 6th generation fighter jets.

VCE is considered an important part of the 6th generation propulsion, which adjusts with dynamics to attack to attack. This increases his attack range by 30 % and can also make superior thermal management. He said that none of the US and China could perform VCE.

He said that the US is testing XA 100 till now, while China is entangled in its fifth generation WS-20 engine, then leave the matter of Sixth Generation.
