Rafale Marine Combat Aircraft India-France Rs 63k Crore Deal To be Signed Today

Rafale marine aircraft: Amid the increasing tension between India and Pakistan, India and France will sign a deal of Rs 63 thousand crore for 26 Rafale Marine fighter jets in Delhi on Monday. On this occasion, the Indian Defense Ministry official and the French Ambassador to India will represent both countries.

According to sources, Defense Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh may attend India, while France and India’s Defense Minister will join the ceremony in a virtual manner. The signature ceremony is likely to be outside the South Block of the Ministry of Defense. Earlier the French Defense Minister was going to come himself, but due to personal reasons he canceled his journey.

INS will be included in Vikrant

Rafael M Jet will operate from INS Vikrant and will help the existing MiG-29 aircraft. The Indian Air Force is already running a fleet of 36 Rafale aircraft purchased in 2016, which is posted in Ambala and Hasimara. After this new deal, the total number of Rafale aircraft in India will be 62, which will increase the strength of 4.5 generation of fighter aircraft of the country. Sources said that 26 Rafael Marine fighter jets are immediately needed for the deployment of Indian aircraft carriers, especially INS Vikrant.

Preparations are being made to remove the fleet of MiG-29 fighter aircraft as there are problems in their performance and maintenance. On 9 April, in a Cabinet Committee meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India approved its biggest defense deal for 26 Rafale maritime fighter jets. The deal includes 22 single-seater and 4 twin-seater jets. Along with this, a large package has also been given for maintenance of aircraft, logistics help, training of personnel and manufacture of indigenous components.

Specialty of Rafael Marine

• The Rafale Marine aircraft can reach a height of 18 thousand meters in a minute. Rafael Marine is much better than the A-16 A-16 and the J-20 aircraft available with China. This aircraft can attack 3700 km from its place of flight.
• This aircraft is specially designed for aircraft carrier warship. It is also able to dodge the radar of enemies. Rafael Marine aircraft can also fly in extremely cold areas like Himalayas.
• Rafael Marine weighs a little more than Rafael. According to the information, its weight is about 10,300 kg. Rafael’s wings cannot be twisted, but Rafael Marine’s wings can completely turn.
