Alok sharma on love jihad: Politics has become hot after the cases of ‘Love Jihad’ in a private college in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. BJP MP Alok Sharma made a sharp statement about recent incidents and has directly targeted the special community.

MP Alok Sharma’s inflammatory statement
Alok Sharma, MP from Bhopal, said that in private colleges, youths of particular class are implicating Hindu girls in love in a planned manner. They are raping and blackmailing them. He described it as a well-planned conspiracy and said- “If there is power in some mian, then I have shown love jihad. I was born to deal with bearded people.”

‘There should be separate events for Sanatani women’
He claimed that the students of Brahmin society are being specially targeted and those involved in this conspiracy will be punished severely. He suggested that events like Garba should be separate for Sanatani women so that ‘love jihad people’ do not get entry.

MP Sharma further said that on June 5, a big Hindu conference will be held in Bhopal, which will include Pandit Dhirendra Shastri. He appealed to all Sanatani Hindus to unite.

Concern over the dwindling Hindu population of Old Bhopal
Expressing concern over the decline in Hindu population in old Bhopal, Ashok Sharma said, “We were 80 percent in Kohefija, now only 20 percent are left. There were 45 thousand Hindus in the Chowkbazar, now only 3200 are left. This religious imbalance is dangerous.”

Love Jihad is wrong in every situation: Arif Masood
Congress MLA Arif Masood described Alok Sharma’s statement as a statement made for ‘cheap popularity’ and said that no matter what the criminal is of religion or caste, he should not be spared. Arif Masood said, “Love jihad is wrong. Whatever be the daughter, she is our daughter too. The safety and respect of sisters and daughters is the responsibility of all of us. Strict action should be taken against those who commit wrong.”

Masood described those wearing a bearded and a patriot and said, “These are the same people who took iron from the British and liberated the country. The biggest patriots of the country are these people.”
