What is a mock drill?

Mock drill is a civil defense exercise in which sirens of air strikes are played, like current conditions, cities are blackout, citizens are taken to safe places and emergency teams play their necessary roles. The task of mock drill is to raise awareness among citizens and reduce nervousness, confusion and loss during disaster. Also, its purpose is to show that if the enemy country attacks, then how can the area be kept safe in darkness. Because it makes it difficult to target the enemy. Therefore, a mock drill is done in a situation like war.

Can I get out of the house in mock drill

During the mock drill, black out will be done throughout the city, in which there will be strictly forbidden to light any type of light. It also includes inverter installed in homes, flash lights of mobile and candle etc. Action can be taken against anyone who is found to be violating this rule. If a person is out of the house during a mock drill, then keep the light of his vehicle closed. Apart from this, places where sirens will be played in the city include Raj Bhavan, DSO office, BSNL office, government hostels, stadium and many places. Can get out of the house during mock drills, but during this drill a complete emergency response system will be performed. Where will it happen Mock drill
Mock drills will be done in more than 200 districts of India. Out of which 11 districts of Delhi are going to have mock drills, it is East Delhi, North Delhi, South Delhi, New Delhi, North East Delhi, North West Delhi, Central Delhi, South East Delhi, South West Delhi, Shahdara and West Delhi. Meanwhile, the police has increased security at the big market and tourist places in Delhi. Special security forces have been deployed in places like Connaught Place, India Gate, Janpath, Yashwant Place, Gol Market. Apart from this, patrolling is being done. Along with this, the vehicles are being investigated strictly. In this, the police have given instructions to monitor the vehicles especially without rent and registration.
