After the video surfaced, people demanded action on this. Taking cognizance of the matter, the Jaisalmer police registered a case of IT Act in Tanot police station. Seeing the seriousness of the case, SP Sudhir Chaudhary ordered Roop Singh Inda CO City, Bhimrao Singh Head Constable in -charge DCRB/DST to arrest unknown accused immediately. Separate police teams were formed. Police teams chased thousands of kilometers and arrested the woman and her partner from a flat in Delhi.

The police caught both of them and brought them to Jaisalmer. After questioning, both were produced in the court. The court sent both the accused to jail. The police team included DST in -charge Bhimrao Singh, Society in -charge Surja Ram, Constable Subhash Chand, Hazar Singh, Padmsingh, Lagiri, Praveen Kumar, Sohanlal and Manisha Shamil. Police said that a software engineer by profession used to make pornographic videos with unknown people in unknown places with his partner in order to earn money. Then used to sell the video at expensive prices.
