The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) face off against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the Qualifier 1 match of the IPL 2025 season, with a chance to book a spot in the Grand final on June 3.
Having made the playoffs in four of the past five seasons, RCB have been a consistent side in recent years. Yet, they did not reach the final in any of these seasons and remain trophy-less even after 18 years in the league.

Virat Kohli knows this feeling all too well, and given the opportunity to help his team qualify directly for the final, he will hope to put out his best performance in the playoffs match at Mullanpur.
The Sporting News covers the RCB opener Kohli’s performance in this IPL 2025 Qualifier 1 match against PBKS.

The last time the RCB star faced PBKS at Mullanpur, he scored a match-winning 73 after a century partnership with now-injured Devdutt Padikkal.
