Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) take on the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the final match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on Tuesday, June 3, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
The two teams have been the best performers in this season of the IPL, and they deservingly made it through to the final stages with a dominant display of cricket.

Punjab finished top of the table with 19 points to their name. Bengaluru, on the other hand, finished second with the same number of points but with a slightly lower net run-rate than PBKS.
The two sides met in Qualifier 1, which saw RCB emerge victorious by 7 wickets on a tricky Mullanpur pitch. PBKS came back from the early setback and defeated the five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) in Qualifier 2 to seal their place in the finals of the tournament.

Both the teams have done well so far this season, as both their batting and bowling lineups have clicked together at the right time.
On a usually batting-friendly pitch, expect the likes of Priyansh Arya, Prabhsimran Singh, Shreyas Iyer, and Nehak Wadhera to score big for PBKS. Shashank Singh has played quite a few explosive knocks towards the tail end of the innings; expect him to perform on the big stage once again.
Arshdeep Singh and Yuzvendra Chahal will shoulder the responsibility of taking crucial wickets at important junctures, and one can expect them to weave their magic again.
RCB, on the other hand, will look forward to the likes of Phil Salt and Virat Kohli to provide explosive starts. Rajat Patidar and Jitesh Sharma are expected to hold the mantle in the mid-overs, with Tim David and Romario Shepherd expected to play handy cameos towards the end.
Josh Hazlewood, Yash Dayal, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar have bowled brilliantly this season for RCB, and one can expect them to try out their variations on a batting-friendly pitch to good effect.
