IPL 2026 Auction: Virat Kohli’s favourite and ex-RCB player among latest nine additions in auction list – news24online.com

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced names of nine players who have been added in the list for Indian Premier League (IPL) auction which will be held on December 16. The earlier list which was released had 350 names but now the tally has increased to 359 after the recent additions.
Among the newly added names, some of them that gained attention were Tripura’s all-rounder Manisankar Murasingh, former Royal Challengers Bengaluru player Swastik Chikara and seven others have been added in the list.

Swastik Chikara gained a lot of attention for his posts with Virat Kohli in IPL 2025, throughout the tournament he was seen with India’s legend even though he did not play a single match for the team.
Out of 1390 players who registered for the auction, 359 have now been shortlisted to go under the hammer. But it is also important to note that there were only 77 available spots out of which 31 have been reserved for the overseas players.

The nine players which has been added to the auction list are: Manisankar Murasingh, Swastik Chikara, Virandeep Singh, Ethan Bosch, Chris Green, K.L. Shrijith, Virat Singh, Rahul Raj Namala, Chama Milind.
