In Doli village near Jodhpur Barmer Highway, about 20 km from Jodhpur, people neither build two -storey houses, nor goldsmiths who work as Sonar stop in the village at night nor do there see any oil in this village.
Apart from this, if there is a fire in someone’s house, then the fire does not spread further. It is said that Kaviraj Murari Lal Ji Charan, who was renowned by the king here, was given 12 villages by the Jodhpur king at the time of King Maharajas. These were also included in this Dolly village. Poet Murari Lal asked Bairagi Maharaj to build the temple of Karni Mata in the village.
What is the reason behind this belief
Villagers told that Hariram Bairagi Maharaj used to do penance in this village, 200 years ago. He had planted a dry wooden stick during his penance site, which is still present in the village as a Khejdi tree. It was he who advised the villagers to perform aarti by making a round circle with raw milk and dried coconut flame around the village. It is believed that due to doing this, there was no crisis in the village. There was no disaster in this village even during the time of Korona epidemic. At that time, there was a big tree of Khejdi at the place where the saint had planted a wooden stick. Due to faith in the saint in the entire village, no person builds a two -floor house.
Two -storey houses were built but a disaster
After this, only one floor house is built in the village. It is said that some people did not accept mythological beliefs and built two -storey houses in the village. But they could not live in that house. If someone started hearing different sounds, then there was premature death in someone’s family. Somewhere in someone’s family, everyone suffered from diseases.
