A woman from Rohtas Gave Birth to 15 Children; The 15th weighed only 500 grams.

Rohtas:- Saiful Khatoon, a resident of Gopalpur village of Dinara block of Rohtas district in Bihar, has recently given birth to his 15th child. But this is not just a normal birth story. This is the story of struggle, pain and unwavering faith of a mother. Earlier, Saiful Khatoon had given birth to 14 children, but all the children were born prematurely and they lost the battle of life due to malnutrition and extreme weakness.

Every time hope continued to break, but this time the situation was different. This time too, delivery took place ahead of time. The child was born in a private hospital in just six months, weighing only 500 grams. The doctors clearly said that it is difficult to escape. But the mother refused to give up. He turned to Sasaram Sadar Hospital with his newborn and admitted the child to the SNCU (Special Newbourne Care Unit) there. The doctors started treatment with full dedication.

Slowly the child’s health began to improve
After continuous monitoring, care and treatment for seven days, the miracle happened, which everyone was waiting for. The weight of the child reached 700 grams and the condition gradually started improving. One week hard work paid off and finally the doctors declared the child out of danger. On Saturday, the mother-son was discharged from the hospital.

The doctor said this
On this special occasion, Civil Surgeon Dr. Maniraj Ranjan himself reached SNCU. He fed sweets to the doctors and health workers present there and appreciated their dedication by giving rose flowers. Dr. Maniraj Ranjan said that Sasaram Sadar Hospital has all the necessary facilities for the treatment of newborns.

There are 10 radiant warmer in the hospital and specially trained doctors and nursing staff are continuously serving. He informed that due to the better arrangement of maternal-infant hospital, a decrease in newborn mortality is being recorded in the district.

Gave birth to 14 children before this
At the same time, Saiful Khatoon was emotional and said that this is his 15th child. He told, “My first 14 children were born and weak, no one of which could survive. This time also the doctors said that the child is weak, but I did not give up hope. Today he is healthy and is with me, that’s my biggest happiness.” She is now returning home from the hospital with her newborn.
