Adar Poonawalla might buy RCB: Know how much will IPL 2025 winners cost? – CricTracker

After winning IPL 2025, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is reportedly available for sale, increasing its market value.
British spirits company Diageo PLC owns RCB and is selling the team as it is not part of their core business.
RCB’s estimated worth is around ₹2,000 crore (≈ ₹17,000 crore), reflecting its value after the IPL 2025 title win.
Adar Poonawalla, CEO of Serum Institute of India, has emerged as the sole bidder interested in acquiring RCB.
Adar is from the prominent Parsi family behind Serum Institute, known globally for developing Covishield vaccine, and owns a London property worth ₹1,446 crore.
If the deal goes through, it would mark another high-value IPL franchise transaction, following Torrent Group’s recent acquisition of a majority stake in Gujarat Titans.
