Five-time IPL champion Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have started preparations for the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) season by conducting trials ahead of the player auction later this year.
The trials are being held at the CSK-High Performance Centre ground and is overseen by head coach Stephen Fleming, who is in the city.
Since winning its fifth title in 2023, CSK hasn’t qualified for the Playoffs in the last two editions and may look at a significant revamp of its squad as it aims to return to winning ways.
With just four wins out of 14 games last season, CSK finished at the bottom of the points table for the first time in IPL history.
