Delhi Congress Devendra Yadav accused BJP and RSS of weakening Constitution on Ambedkar Jayanti ANN

Delhi congress: Today, on the 134th birth anniversary of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, Delhi Congress gave a big message remembering him. Delhi Pradesh Congress President Devendra Yadav along with party workers gave a wreath to Baba Saheb at Rajiv Bhavan and said that the Congress will always fight to fulfill the dreams of Baba Saheb. He accused the BJP and the RSS of weakening the constitution and trying to end reservation for Dalits, tribals, OBCs.

Congress’s path on Baba Saheb’s ideals

Devendra Yadav said that Babasaheb struggled throughout his life for Dalits, tribals and backward. He gave the right to equality to every class by creating a constitution, so that no discrimination would be faced. Accusing the BJP and RSS of abolishing reservation and snatching the rights of Dalit-backward classes, Yadav said that the opposition is being suppressed by misusing the investigating agencies like CBI, ED and Income Tax Department. He described it as the “dangerous agenda” of the RSS.

Yadav said that the Congress will never allow these “nefarious intentions” of BJP to succeed. Referring to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi, he said that a big resolution was taken for the rights of Dalits, tribal and backward classes in the recently held Congress session in Ahmedabad. He gave the example of the Congress government of Telangana, where the work is being done to advance the backward by giving 42% reservation in education and jobs.

Yadav also reiterated Rahul Gandhi’s demand for caste census. He said that this demand is so that the marginalized people of the society can get a chance to equal. Baba Saheb’s dream was that every person should get respect and progress, and the Congress is following the same path.
