Devendra Yadav of congress demands to implement 25 000 crore interest free yojana ANN

Devendra Yadav Latest News: Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee President Devendra Yadav on Saturday demanded that the Delhi government should implement an interest free scheme of Rs 25,000 crore for women entrepreneurs on the lines of Telangana government and it should be included in the upcoming budget.

He said that the Congress is committed to the development, respect and economic empowerment of women. In the states where Congress governments are, election promises are being fulfilled on time. An example of this is the new scheme of the Telangana government, under which an interest free amount of Rs 25,000 crore will be given to women entrepreneurs.

‘BJP government is only holding meetings, no concrete steps in public interest’

Devendra Yadav, while targeting the BJP government, said that one month has passed since the formation of a new government in Delhi, but no order has been issued on the promises made to the public so far. He said that from March 5, the government is only holding meetings and is engaged in confusing the public, but no concrete decision was taken.

He said that before the Delhi elections, the BJP had made many announcements under Modi’s guarantee, but now he is not being implemented. No concrete blueprint has been introduced so far of schemes like monthly prosperity amount of Rs 2,500, gas cylinder for Rs 500, free cylinder on Holi and Diwali, increase in women’s pension. He said that the government has announced only Rs 5,100 crore for Mahila Samriddhi Yojana, but no deadline was fixed to implement it.

‘What the Congress says, it fulfills’

Devendra Yadav said that Congress governments in Telangana, Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh have fulfilled their election promises. Schemes declared for women, elderly, farmers and youth are being implemented rapidly there.

He said, ‘Congress not only makes announcements, but also brings them into implementation. The Telangana government’s interest -free scheme of Rs 25,000 crore is the biggest example of this. On the other hand, election promises in BJP ruled states are either not implemented or nominal.

‘Women of Delhi should also get financial help’

Devendra Yadav said that the BJP government should bring a similar scheme to make the women of Delhi financially strong. He demanded that the provision of this scheme be made in the upcoming budget, so that women entrepreneurs can get loans without interest and they can become self -sufficient.

He said that the BJP government is doing injustice to the women of Delhi. If the government really wants to work in the interest of women, then it should take a big decision like the Telangana government. The Congress will go among the public on this issue and will fight for the rights of women.
