Four Member gang arrested by CCB’S SEW team selling ongoing IPL cricket match tickets in black 32 tickets & cash Rs.1 Lakh Seized – Country and Politics

Officials of the Central Crime Branch Special Enquiry Wing on Friday arrested a gang of four selling IPL cricket match tickets in black for RCB and CSK scheduled in Chinnaswamy stadium on Saturday .
Based on an information a team of officials caught Charanraj,red handed at Yeshwantpur pipeline road and seized 12 tickets from him.
Based on his information the police arrested Harshavardhan,Vinay Kamaleshkar and Venkat Sai and recovered 20 more tickets four mobile phones and one lakh from them.
Among the accused Venkat sai is Long term temporary members of KSCA who roped in other accused to sell the tickets in black and make quick money.
The police suspect the involvement of insiders and the case has been taken up by special inquiry wing for further investigation.
The accused are in the black market business for quite sometime and caught first time,the officials, said .
Finally Bengaluru City Police Commissioner,B Dayananda,Addl CP Crime,Dr.Chandragupta appreciated whole team.
