Himachal Chief Engineer Vimal Negi Death Case: The post -mortem report of Vimal Negi, Chief Engineer of Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation, has come out. According to the preliminary report, Vimal Negi died due to drowning in water. There is no targets of any kind of injury on his body.
According to the report, Vimal Negi died, about 5 days before the body was found. Negi’s body was found floating in water in Govind Sagar Lake on 18 March, while he was missing since March 10. Now the question is arising as to where he was three days after the disappearance. Vimal Negi went to Bilaspur on March 10 with a taxi near Shimla lift, where he was last seen in a CCTV camera.

The body of Vimal Negi, who was missing from Shimla on 10 March, was recovered from Govindsagar Lake on 18 March. On March 19, HPPCL officials, employees and family members of Vimal Negi kept the dead body outside the office and Managing Director Harikesh Meena and Director Desh Raj were held responsible for the death of Vimal Negi. Even now, the family is adamant on the demand for CBI inquiry. The BJP is also demanding a CBI inquiry into the case with his family.
Leader of the Opposition in the state assembly Jai Ram Thakur said, “We have come to meet Vimal Negi ji’s family and express their condolences. Today, we met his family members and prayed that he had the power to bear this grief. When talking to the family, he said that although the loss has already happened, the investigation should be fair and fair”.
