Today (May 11), the blackout, which started from 7:30 pm today, will continue till 6:00 am tomorrow (May 12).
On the second day of ceasefire, this blackout has been strictly implemented in Jaisalmer. There is dense darkness and silence on the streets. Police and administration vehicles are continuously announced and appealing people to stay in homes and keep the light closed.

Apart from Jaisalmer, blackout in Barmer started at 8:00 pm. At the same time, in the border areas like Fatehgarh (Jhinjhinyali), Burratia, Anupgarh (Anupgarh) and Ganganagar (Ganganagar), a precautionary blackout has been implemented due to drone activities.
Markets started closing in Jaisalmer since evening
In Jaisalmer, shops in the markets started closing in the evening, while normal movement was seen in the markets throughout the day. The administration says that it is necessary to continue black out in view of the current situation, so that any possible danger can be dealt with.
