Risky picks: Karun Nair (DC), Vipraj Nigam (DC), Jofra Archer (RR), Riyan Parag (RR)
DC and RR have played 29 games against each other in the IPL. DC have won 14, while RR have won 15. Not too much difference there.
Delhi might have lost their last game but they are the more in-form side and should get the better of RR at their home ground.
KL Rahul missed DC’s first game of the IPL 2025 but has since scored 200 runs in four innings at an average of 66.66 and a strike rate of 163.93. He has two 50-plus scores, and also has a great record against RR – 713 runs in 16 innings @ 50.93.
Kuldeep Yadav has been one of the best bowlers in the IPL 2025. The left-arm wristspinner has taken 10 wickets at an average of 11.20 and an economy rate of 5.60. He is yet to go wicketless this season.
The Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi hosted its first game of the IPL 2025 on April 13, and it turned out to be a high-scoring affair. After MI smashed 205/5 in their 20 overs, DC got to 193 in the second innings. Spinners claimed nine of the 12 wickets and were also more economical than pacers.
There’s no chance of rain in Delhi on April 26, with the temperature likely to be around 29-36 degrees Celsius during match hours.
