IPL 2025 Eliminator, MI vs GT, Mumbai Indians vs Gujarat Titans, Chandigarh Weather Today: As Gujarat Titans gear up to take on Mumbai Indians in the much-anticipated Eliminator of IPL 2025 tonight at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, fans are closely monitoring the weather forecast. With the winner moving on to face the loser of Qualifier 1 in the second qualifier in Ahmedabad, the stakes couldn’t be higher.
Both teams had a shaky finish to the league stage. Gujarat Titans, once front-runners, slipped to third after back-to-back defeats. Mumbai Indians, too, missed a top-two finish after losing two of their last three matches and ended fourth.
Due to the India-Pakistan conflict, the IPL 2025 schedule was briefly paused and later reshuffled. Originally slated for Hyderabad, the Eliminator and Qualifier 1 were moved to Mullanpur, while Ahmedabad will host Qualifier 2 and the final.
Good news for cricket fans: the forecast for Mullanpur shows minimal chances of rain. With temperatures expected to peak at 37°C and dip to 25°C, the weather is likely to stay dry throughout the match.
In case of a washout, IPL rules dictate that the team with the higher standing on the points table—Gujarat Titans—will automatically advance to Qualifier 2, eliminating Mumbai Indians.
There’s no official confirmation regarding a reserve day for the Eliminator. Considering Qualifier 2 is scheduled just a day later in Ahmedabad, a reserve day appears unlikely at this stage.
