The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 league stage is done and dusted and while the 4 teams for the playoffs were already decided, their final position in the table was in jeopardy and with RCB Vs LSG match concluded, we know the final position in the IPL 2025 table as well with Punjab Kings at the top.
RCB had to beat the LSG side to cement their place in top 2 and they did the unthinkable despite a few hiccups. RCB defeated Rishabh Pant’s team in a nail-biter to seal their date with Punjab Kings.

On May 29, RCB will take on Punjab Kings at the Mullanpur Stadium in the Qualifier 1. The match will take place on May 29. Following which, it will be the big Eliminator clash between GT and MI at the same venue.
On June 1, the winner of Eliminator and loser of Qualifier 1 will face off in the Qualifier 2 at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Then, the big finale will take place on June 3 at the same venue.
LSG were put into bat first and it was the Rishabh Pant show as the maverick batter slammed his second IPL century to punish the RCB bowlers. LSG posted 227/3 and it looked to be a daunting task for RCB.
However, a fine fifty from Virat Kohli kept RCB in the hunt before Jitesh Sharma played the innings of his life (85 off 33) as the team chased down the target with 8 balls to spare.
