The season begins on March 22 with a match between the defending champions, Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Kolkata.

In Rajasthan Royals’ camp, last year’s top performer, Riyan Parag got a whopping 144*(64) with 10 sixes and 16 fours.
During the intra-squad practice match, Rahul Tripathi scored 47 off just 22. Sam Curran and Afghanistan spinner, Noor Ahmed got three-fers each.
In response, Shivam Dube scored 57(31) and Ruturaj Gaikwad got 26(16).

During KKR’s two practice matches, Ajinkya Rahane only managed 13(11) and 11(9). On the other hand, seasoned campaigner Andre Russell gets 21(9) and 45(19) during the pre-season camp.
Ramandeep Singh scored 17(6) and Rinku got 29(18) and 28(7). Vice-captain, Venkatesh Iyer looked good for his 46 off 20.
