Kohli once again proved why he is regarded as one of the best in the game. He scored 217 runs in four matches at an average of 72.33.
He had his standout moment against Pakistan where he guided India to win with an unbeaten 100 off 111 balls. In the semi-final against Australia — he played a composed knock of 84 and helped India progress to the final.

Phil Salt had a disappointing campaign. He scored just 30 runs in three innings. He is often seen providing aggressive starts at the top but he struggled to adapt to the conditions and failed to make a meaningful contribution.
His poor form was one of the reasons for England’s early exit. This has raised concerns about his rhythm heading into IPL 2025.

Ngidi had a decent outing in the Champions Trophy. He picked up 9 wickets in three matches.
He was South Africa’s standout bowler in the semi-final against New Zealand. His 3 wicket haul included dismissals of Daryl Mitchell and Michael Bracewell.
His economy rate (72 runs conceded in 10 overs) in that match left room for improvement. With IPL 2025 on the horizon, RCB will hope for more discipline from him.
Bethell was ruled out of the Champions Trophy due to a hamstring injury. England captain Jos Buttler confirmed his unavailability and called it a big loss for the team. RCB will be hoping for a quick recovery to have Bethell back in action.
Livingstone had a forgettable campaign — scoring only 33 runs in three matches while picking up three wickets. England endured a disastrous run and lost all three of their group-stage matches.
They also had an upset defeat against Afghanistan. Livingstone’s form will be a concern for RCB as they rely on his all-round skills to balance their side.
With the tournament fast approaching, RCB will hope their players regain form and fitness in time for the season.
