Sunrisers Hyderabad new recruit Aniket Verma smashed 36 off 13 balls during an IPL 2025 match against Lucknow Super Giants in Hyderabad on Thursday.
Aniket came into bat at number six and hit five sixes, and no fours, during his brief stay.
The 22-year-old batter, who hails from Madhya Pradesh, was bought by the Hyderabad franchise in the IPL auction for INR 30 lakhs.

Aniket has so far played just one T20 for his senior domestic side during the 2024-25 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He rose to the fame during the Madhya Pradesh Premier League where he finished as a highest run-getter, scoring 244 runs at a strike rate of over 205 in five innings.
Aniket, who can also bowl medium pace, has scored a century against Karnataka Under-23 during the men’s one-day tournament.
