Generally, one of the most consistent teams, Chennai had an absolutely rollercoaster ride this year, and they simply could not come up against the intensity of the other teams.

When it comes to the best performing teams can possibly note the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Gujarat Titans and Punjab Kings are right up there. They have been incredibly consistent with bat and all this season.
Then we have the mighty Mumbai Indians, who scripted a remarkable comeback after losing three of their first four games. They went from being the 10th ranked team on the table to title favourites in a span of a couple of weeks.
Mumbai and Bengaluru now stand as two of the favourites to win the title this year, and there are a lot of expectations on them to deliver. The responsibility is on these two teams to make it happen.
