KKR vs PBKS, IPL 2025: Prabhsimran Singh engraved his name in the history book as he becomes the first uncapped player for Punjab Kings to score 1000 runs for the franchise.
KKR vs PBKS, IPL 2025: Prabhsimran Singh continued to shine bright in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, showcasing his craft with willow as he scripted the record for being the first uncapped player for the Punjab Kings (PBKS) to score 1000 runs in IPL for the franchise.
The batter from Patiala has became a mainstay for the Punjab Kings after cementing his place in opening order and the franchise has put their all trust in the uncapped player, banking on his performances throughout the ongoing campaign.
He is also became the highest run-scorer amongst uncapped players for the franchise.
Manan Vohra previously held this record while for the Punjab from 2013-2017, scoring 957 runs in 45 games. Moreover, Shashank Singh also is in the list at the third position with 512 runs in 23 games.

Talking about the match, Punjab Kings skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and elected to bat first against Kolkata Knight Riders in an Indian Premier League match here on Saturday.
PBKS made two changes, bringing in Glenn Maxwell and Azmatullah Omarzai in place of Marcus Stoinis and Xavier Bartlett.
KKR also made two changes, replacing Moeen Ali and Ramandeep Singh with Rovman Powell and Chetan Sakariya.
