The IPL will miss out on his participation because of his injury. Kolkata Knight Riders have verified the news. The IPL champion team brought in left-arm bowler Chetan Sakariya to replace the defending champions’ fast bowler Umran. The Kolkata Knight Riders acquired Chetan Sakariya for 75 lakh rupees.

Was part of the Hyderabad team
During his previous cricket stint, Umran Malik performed for the Sunrisers Hyderabad team. The Kolkata Knight Riders acquired this 25-year-old bowling quick through the previous mega auction purchase at a starting cost of 75 lakh rupees. The Sunrisers organization let Umran Malik go prior to the mega auction in 2021 after signing him in 2021. SRH received 29 wickets from this player during his 26-game run for the team. The last match turned out to be his only opportunity for participation because he failed to secure a wicket.

In his IPL debut Chetan Sakariya took the field as a Rajasthan Royals player. The Rajasthan team decided to let him go ahead of IPL 2024. In the past year he performed for Delhi Capitals but the team declined to keep him and no team wanted to buy his services during the mega auction. Through his replacement of Umran Malik he now holds an outstanding chance to demonstrate his talent once more through his performance.
