KKR win by 80 runs!
Andre Russell takes the final wicket and KKR complete a clinical win, their second win of the season. SRH have been handed their third loss of this year. A dominating win for KKR.
Two wickets from Varun Chakravarthy in the 16th over and he finishes his spell with three scalps to his name. Another good day at office for the spinner and his team as well. They are now just one wicket away from a massive win.
SRH 117/9 (16)
Cummins and Klaasen in the middle and KKR are tightening their grip on this game. Is some life left in this game? Can Klaasen pull off a miracle? Very tough.
SRH 91/6 (13)
We are at the half-way mark in the chase and half the SRH batting line-up is back in the pavilion. Things not looking good for SRH but they Klaasen in the middle. The impressive Aniket Verma has joined him in the middle. This duo remains SRH’s last hope now.
SRH 72/5 (10)
Nitish Reddy also has gone back to the pavilion. Trouble keeps mounting for SRH. Kamindu Mendis has played a few shots but the run rate is still only at 8. The required run rate has travelled to over 12 now. Heinrich Klaasen is in the middle.
SRH 56/4 (8)
The team that scores 100 in the powerplay has been limited to just 32, thanks to some brilliant new ball bowling from Arora and Rana. Reddy is currently on the crease with Mendis. The duo has started slow but SRH really need to up the ante. 201 is the target and they are far away from it.
SRH 32/3 (6)
What a start for KKR. They have removed the top three of SRH within 13 balls of the chase. Unbeilevable. Head falls to Arora and then Abhishek nicks one off to Rana. Arora then returns for his second over and gets Kishan as well. SRH under a huge pile of pressure now.
SRH 9/3 (2.1)
The openers, Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma, are out in the middle for SRH. Vaibhav Arora, the Impact Player, gets the new ball for KKR.
SRH need 201 runs to win!
Innings Break!
KKR 200/6
78 runs off the last five overs and KKR have set a formidabble target for SRH. A brilliant innings from Venkatesh Iyer who really took off after a slow start. He departed after his half-century in the last over but he had done enough damage by then. Rinku finishes unbeaten on 32. Russell is run out on the final ball.
Now Rinku and Venkatesh seem to have found their rhythm. 44 runs off the last three overs and KKR are marching towards at least 190 here. Harshal Patel has an over and most probably Pat Cummins will bowl the other. Where will KKR reach?
KKR 166/4 (18)
12 runs off the 16th over but Rinku and Venkatesh have both encountered some struggles so far in their innings. The partnership, despite the big last over, is just 28 off 21 balls. They really need to up the ante here. KKR still have Russell, Ramandeep and Moeen in the dugout waiting to bat.
KKR 134/4 (16)
Kamindu Mendis has got his maiden IPL wicket and he claims the dangerous-looking Angkrish Raghuvanshi who departs after a beautiful half-century which steadied KKR’s ship. Rinku Singh and Venkatesh Iyer are in the middle and with Andre Russell and Ramandeep Singh in the dugout waiting to bat, anything below 190 would be a bit less for KKR.
KKR 108/4 (13)
A crucial partnership going on between Rahane and Raghuvanshi. 68 runs so far added for the third wicket in just 45 balls. SRH really need a wicket at this point.
KKR 84/2 (10)
KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane has not let the early dismissals catch up as the Mumbai-born batter raced to a whirlwind 18-ball 28 in no time. He is well-supported by Angkrish Raghuvanshi at the other end.
Score after 7 overs

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have lost their openers cheaply again, this time to Sunrisers Hyderabad. First was Quinton de Kock (1) and then Sunil Narine followed for 7 runs to leave the hosts reeling again. A lot of work at hand for Ajinkya Rahane and co.
Score after 3 overs
KKR 17/2
Quinton de Kock and Sunil Narine could not get going against Mumbai Indians in their last game, but with home crowd on their side, the KKR pair need a rapid start if they are to win this key game tonight.

We had a couple of meetings. Talk was to keep things simple from a bowling point of view. When our bowlers are under the pump, sometimes they get carried away and try to do different things instead of just doing the basics and focusing on execution. Pretty much those sort of things. From a batting point of view, obviously we didn’t have a great game. We just talked about things like shot selection, awareness in your batting. We just went back and spoke about the basics. It’s the early stage of the tournament, not every team can get off to a flier. We’ve done some pretty good things until this period. The conditions are changing in Kolkata. Everyday it feels like it’s getting five degrees hotter. Apart from that, wickets are staying the same. Pretty decent wickets.
62m and 64m square boundaries with the straight boundary at 75m. The pockets aren’t too big either, at 69m and 70m respectively. A pretty good surface, it’s really firm and well put together, well grassed. But there is an area where there are some spots which can be worked out by the spinners. You can bowl a full length, hit those spots and get some spin with the new ball as well. 100% chase if you win the toss, a hot day at around 35 degrees, dew could come in and make the ball skid.
