Up news: Vijay Kiran Anand, an officer of the Indian Administrative Service, who was a fair officer in Prayagraj Mahakumbh, has been given new responsibility. Vijay Kiran Anand has also got the responsibility of the Secretary of the Department of Infrastructure and Industrial Development. During this time, he will also have additional charge of Mela Officer, Mahakumbh.

After the suspension of IAS officer Abhishek Prakash, LDA VC and ACEO Pratham Kumar were given additional charge of Invest UP.

Let me tell you that on March 20, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath suspended senior IAS officer Abhishek Prakash as part of zero tolerance policy against corruption. Abhishek Prakash was working as Secretary, Department of Uttar Pradesh Industries Department and Chief Executive Officer of ‘Invest UP’.

It is being told that this action was taken on Abhishek Prakash due to allegations of corruption and fake documents in the Lucknow Defense Expo land scam. The case is related to land acquisition for the Defense Corridor in Bhatgaon in Sarojninagar, Lucknow. In this whole case, the matter of scam has come to light in the compensation process, after which this action was taken.

Abhishek Prakash is a 2006 batch IAS officer. He has worked as DM of many districts in the state. He has also been the DM of the capital Lucknow for a long time.
