Today IPL match LIVE Score, MI vs GT scorecard: Mumbai Indians host Gujarat Titans at the iconic Wankhede Stadium on Tuesday hoping to avenge their loss at the hands of Shubman Gill’s men in Ahmedabad earlier this season. MI are also on a roll currently, having won their last six matches on the trot, and will be aiming to register their longest winning streak ever by collecting a seventh consecutive victory.
Gujarat had defeated Mumbai by 36 runs when the two sides had met at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on 29 March, with Sai Sudharsan’s 41-ball 63 and Prasidh Krishna’s 2/18 playing a key role in the victory.
MI and GT currently are third and fourth respectively on the points table but have the best Net Run Rate of the 10 teams in action. The winner of Tuesday’s clash thus will reclaim the top spot on the table, which currently is occupied by Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
GT enjoy a 4-2 lead over MI in their head-to-head meetings since making their debut in 2022. MI, however, have never lost a match against GT in Mumbai – they had won their only meeting in 2022 at the Brabourne Stadium, and had defeated the Hardik Pandya-led Titans at the Wankhede the following year.
