Mountains are cutting for marriage, yet the boys here are virgin, many are old without marriage, know the reason

Hazaribagh: Boys and girls are not getting married in Hanamat village of Hunterganj in Chatra district of Jharkhand. Especially there is more problem in boys’ marriage. Even if a relative makes contact on the phone, he refuses to hear the name of the village. Due to this, boys are getting old without marriage. Angry villagers have started finding solutions from themselves instead of sitting on the government.

In fact, even after 78 years of independence, basic facilities like road have not reached the basic village of Karilibar Panchayat of Hunterganj block of Chatra. Due to which the villagers have started making roads by themselves. Hunterganj block once came out of the very Naxalite affected areas. Most of its parts are surrounded by forests. At the same time, the road surrounded by forests has not reached the road till date.

The villagers still cross the mountain with the help of footpaths and reach the block headquarters. For this reason, the villagers here have to face a lot of problems. Now the villagers are giving the form of a road by cutting stones from the footpaths of the mountain. Actually, due to lack of village development and no facilities like road, the weddings of the boys here are being broken. No one wants to give a daughter in this village.

Villagers say that till date the road could not be built in the village. After the village of Maamat, people of 6 more villages cross the mountain with the help of this footpath and reach the block headquarters. Here it seems as if you are going to fight somewhere. The entire route is risky. For this reason, no relative wants to come to the village. If someone falls ill in the village or a woman is in childbirth, then one has to take the hospital to the hospital. Marriage is breaking due to lack of road.

Roads are built every year before passion
Rural Bhima Mahato says, no officer has reached this village till date. At the time of elections only the leaders arrive, but after the election they also disappear. Most of the people of the village are farmers. There is also a problem in selling the crop outside. Children’s education is also affected. No boy’s marriage is decided in the village. If a girl’s marriage is fixed, then the villagers have to prepare the road. But, every year the road flows in the rain. Every year, villagers cut the mountain stones and make roads. Digging is about to come, so mountains are constructing a road by cutting stones.
