Operation Sindoor India attack Nur Khan Airbase Pakistan Asim Munir moved to bunker in Rawalpindi

Operation Sindoor: The Pakistani Army Chief Asim Munir, who spewed poison against India, has not been seen since Operation Sindoor. Scared of India’s retaliation, Asim Munir has now had to take refuge in the bunker.

According to the CNN-NEWS18 report, Pakistan’s Army Chief General Asim Munir, who was nervous of India’s accurate attacks on Noor Khan airbase during Operation Sindoor, has been shifted to a strong bunker at the General Headquarter (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.

Anger among officers due to shift to Asim Munir’s bunker
Sources say that shifting the Army Chief to the bunker not only reflects the strategic response, but also shows the psychological impact of India’s deep penetration on Pakistan’s military leadership. The feeling of insecurity among the top officials of Pakistan has increased by temporarily sending Asim Munir to the bunker. Now reports are indicating that the operational base will be transferred to reduce weaknesses in the future.

Noor Khan base attack strongly
Noor Khan Airbase, just 10 km from Islamabad and the headquarters of the Air Mobility Command of Pakistan, was one of the major goals in India, which India targeted in response to the attacks on India’s military establishments and civil infrastructure. According to the satellite photographs of India’s Kava Space, Noor Khan base has suffered serious damage. Fuel trucks were destroyed in India’s attack. The roof of the warehouse was damaged and the debris shattered near the runway.

The airbase has important assets such as Saab Ari Monitoring System, IL-78 fueling aircraft and C-130 transporter. The C-130B/E aircraft has suffered a lot in the attack, which has greatly affected the movement of aerial logistics and VIPs of Pakistan. Between 8 and 10 May, Indian Air Force fighter aircraft attacked 11 military air bases in Pakistan.

DGMO Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai said that within 3 hours India attacked 11 locations including Noor Khan, Rafiki, Murid, Sukkur, Sialkot, Pasroor, Chunion, Sargodha, Scaru, Bholari and Jacobabad.
