Indian allrounder Ankit Jaglan was retained by Patna Pirates for Rs. 1.573 crore on Saturday during the Pro Kabaddi League Auction 2025 in Mumbai.
A long-drawn bidding war involving multiple franchises including Puneri Paltan, U Mumba, Jaipur Pink Panthers and Haryana Steelers eventually went back to the Pirates.
Ankit had a stellar season with Patna last year and finished as the league’s second best defender in 2024. He amassed 79 tackle points in 25 matches and was crucial in Patna’s scintillating march to the final.
