Bihar Assembly Election 2025: Prashant Kishore, the founder of Jan Suraj, who was preparing for the assembly elections to be held in Bihar later this year, expressed his opinion on Waqf and the current political situation of the state on Saturday. He said that his opposition to Waqf is not against any religion or community, but against the political process that is against the promises and assurances made with different sections of the society.

Prashant Kishore said that the promise that the top leaders had made from every section of the society during the creation of the country should have been strengthened instead of breaking. If steps are being taken towards change in schemes like Waqf, then communicate with the affected sections of the society and they should be taken into confidence, which is not happening at this time.

‘Nitish Kumar cheated on Muslim community’
Jan Suraj founder said that elections are going to be held in Bihar in the next six months, and during this time the public will take its decision. The ideology of BJP leaders is clear, they are doing what they have to do. But, the people of Bihar have seen how Nitish Kumar and his government have cheated the Muslim community. Earlier, Prashant Kishore also questioned the role of Lalu Yadav and said that the people of Bihar have also recognized the fraudulent attitude of the Lalu family so far.

‘There is a strict need to change in Bihar’
He said that there is a dire need of change in Bihar. This change can no longer be limited to political words, but to eliminate corruption, prevent migration, and improve education system for children. Lalu, Nitish and BJP, who have been in power in Bihar for three decades, have been holding the demand for change from coalition governments.

“Bihar Parivartan Rally” will be held at Gandhi Maidan on 11 April
PK said that to carry forward the process of this change, on April 11, Jan Suraj’s “Bihar Parivartan Rally” will be held at Gandhi Maidan, in which people from across the state will unite. This rally will be a platform for those who believe that Bihar needs a new direction, a system that can motivate the state to move forward like other developed states.

He said that the people gathering in Gandhi Maidan at 3 pm for this rally are ready for the start of a new politics in Bihar, which will work towards the betterment of Bihar.
