Pune News Pregnant woman dies after denied treatment due to lack of money Maharashtra News

Pune News: A surprising case has come to light from Pune in Maharashtra, where a pregnant woman died after the city’s Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital refused to undergo treatment. Surprisingly, even after calling the BJP leader, the hospital administration did not hear the woman and her family.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has ordered an inquiry regarding the incident. The CM has clarified that strict steps will be taken regarding the hospital under the Charity Commissionerate. The incident in Pune shows the lack of sensitivity in the action of the hospital administration. He said that this hospital was built by Lata Didi and Mangeshkar family themselves. However, there have been reports that the staff insensitively refused to recruit female patients or demanded more money.

‘Treatment refuses even after 10 lakhs’
On the other hand, BJP MLC Amit Gorkhe said about this whole matter, “Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital was started with good intentions, but some people are getting maligned by the hospital. Recently, the incident took place with a close associate of mine, who went to the hospital to recruit his wife, who was going to become a mother of two children. He was asked for Rs 20 lakh.

No hearing even after calling- BJP leader
He further said, “I also called the medical staff, but they did not hear any hearing. During this time the couple changed two to three hospitals and meanwhile the woman died. My direct charge is on the doctors and staff of Dinanath Hospital.

‘Talk to CM Fadnavis’
BJP leader Amit Gorkhe also said, “I spoke to CM Devendra Fadnavis about this. I demand that such doctors be dismissed immediately. Such hospitals should have a monthly audit.”
