The race for the Orange and Purple Caps in IPL 2025 is heating up with just a few league games remaining. At the top of the batting charts, Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) Virat Kohli leads the Orange Cap standings with 505 runs from 11 innings, closely followed by Gujarat Titans’ (GT) B Sai Sudharsan, who is just one run behind despite playing one fewer match.
Mumbai Indians’ (MI) Suryakumar Yadav sits third with 475 runs, only two ahead of Rajasthan Royals (RR) opener Yashasvi Jaiswal (473). GT’s Jos Buttler (470) and Shubman Gill (465) round out the top six, keeping the competition intense.
On the bowling front, GT pacer Prasidh Krishna continues to hold the Purple Cap with 19 wickets from 10 matches, followed by RCB’s Josh Hazlewood with 18 wickets in as many games. Punjab Kings’ Arshdeep Singh moved up to third after a stellar three-wicket haul against LSG, taking his tally to 16 wickets.
