Welcome to Sportstar’s LIVE coverage of the IPL 2025 match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
Chahar bowling his fourth over. Klaasen pulls towards midwicket for four! Picks the slower ball with ease.
Jasprit Bumrah into the attack. Klaasen almost chips the ball back to Bumrah off the first ball! Aniket flicks the ball towards fine leg and finds a boundary.
Chahar. OUT! Reddy falls as well. Chips the ball straight to mid on. A very cheap dismissal. Poor start for SRH. A six-ball 2 for NKR.
Aniket Verma is at six. Two runs from the over.
Boult. OUT! Abhishek is gone as well. Swings towards the off side, his bat opens up and the ball goes straight to extra cover. Abhishek out for an 8-ball 8.
Heinrich Klaasen is here. This has been an incredible start for Mumbai. One run and a wicket in that over.
Chahar. OUT! Kishan is gone. Down the leg delivery, Kishan tries to guide it but misses it and the keeper collects it. Just when umpire was signaling wide, Kishan decided to walk. No one was interested to appeal. Even umpire didn’t realise the edge.
Nitish Kumar Reddy at four. Alright so the replays suggest that Kishan didn’t edge it – there was no murmur off the thigh pad as well. Three runs and a wicket – that wasn’t- from it.
Trent Boult from the other end. OUT! Head is gone. Wide outside off on length, Head looks to swing hard, ends up skying it straight to deep point. A four-ball duck for Head.
Ishan Kishan in at three. Gets beaten off the outside edge by an outswinger. He’s off the mark with a single. Abhishek is off the mark with a SIX! Full ball on the pads and Abhishek flicks it away over the midwicket boundary. Seven runs and a wicket in that over.
Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head open the innings. Deepak Chahar will take the new ball.
Head on strike. Defence on the first ball. An outswinger. Comes down the track off the next ball, gets beaten by the inswinger. Single off a leg bye though. Starts off with a short ball to Abhishek, called wide. A quiet start so far. Chahar getting the ball to shape both ways. Just two runs from the over.
After a minute silence, the players are now in the huddle as the umpires enter the field.

“Third time on this wicket. It’s been a really hot day, it’s really dry and hard. Mixed soil surface, some wear and tear. We know it’s a 200+ wicket, but I don’t think it’ll be a high scoring match,” Matthew Hayden says.
“Good luck, bowlers,” says Danny Morrison is his usual jovial manner.

MI on the other hand is going through a purple patch, having won three of its last fixtures. A dominant win could see it climb to fourth place on the points table after the match.
