According to the victim, a year ago she had befriended a young man named Manu Arjaria on her social media platform Instagram. After some time Manu promised to marry and called her home and raped her. When the matter became serious, the victim lodged an FIR against the accused in City Kotwali last month. But even after one and a half months, the accused was not arrested, due to which he decided to sit in disappointed.

ASP assured the victim
As soon as this news reached the police officers, ASP Vidita Dagar herself reached the spot. He listened seriously to the victim’s talk and tried to convince her by sitting on the ground for about an hour. During the conversation, the ASP assured the victim that the accused would be arrested within 12 hours.
