The duo Venkatagiri Gowda working in TMC and Ravichandran serving in Halasuru traffic have been issued notices to appear for questioning.
The racket busted when PSI,Mahesh Byakud,based on a tip off caught Shankar and Suresh red handed while they were selling tickets in public for the IPL matches between RCB and KKR in Chinnaswamy stadium on May 17.
The accused were selling for Rs.1200 to Rs.5000 and Rs.2200 tickets to Rs.8000.
The duo policemen according to the initial probe used to source the tickets from KSCA or the sponsored company with the contact of Some senior officials .
Each match the accused had sources 150 to 200 tickets and suspected to have made huge profit margins running into several lakhs.
The accused also created whatsapp group to sell the tickets illegally and their involvement has brought huge embarassment to the department.
Taking objection to this,senior police officials recommend the traffic chief to suspend the duo while probe is on to ascertain the possible involvement of other officials in the racket.
The suspension order was issued by Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic),M.N.Anucheth.The suspended personnel are Ravichandra, who was serving at the Halasuru Traffic Police Station,and Venkata Giri Gowda, who was posted at the Traffic Management Center (TMC).

A common platform at the national level was created for the members, to establish personal Contact with each other and have interactions on related problems and take up the same, with concerned authorities, on a collective basis.
