Virat Kohli RCB
The Royal Challengers Bengaluru elected to bowl first against the Sunrisers Hyderabad in Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium in match 65 of the Indian Premier League 2025 season.
In their bid to finish in the top-2 positions in the season after already sealing the qualification, RCB is led by Jitesh Sharma in the absence of Rajat Patidar, while Virat Kohli will lead the run chase from the top.

After bowling first, the RCB bowlers were taken to the cleaners by Ishan Kishan, whose 94*(48) took them to a total of 231/6.
Coming into the match, Kohli is the highest run scorer for RCB with 505 runs in 11 innings at a strike rate of 143.46 with 7 fifties.

Virat Kohli will come in to open the batting with Phil Salt in the second innings at the Ekana as they will attempt to go one point clear at the top of the table.
RCB can overtake the Gujarat Titans with a win, following the latter’s defeat against the Lucknow Super Giants in Ahmedabad on May 22.
Kohli has scored over 700 runs against SRH in IPL history including one century and five fifties, with a high score of 100.
