Waqf amendment bill in parliament: The Waqf (Amendment) Bill of discussion will be brought in the entire country to discuss and pass the Lok Sabha table in Parliament today i.e. on Wednesday (April 2), with which the entire opposition has united. All opposition parties held a meeting in the evening of Tuesday (April 1) regarding the Waqf (Amendment) Bill. After this meeting, the entire opposition unanimously decided to discuss this bill in the Lok Sabha and vote against it in Parliament.
RSP’s NK Premchandran told NDTV, “All the party members have decided that they will actively participate in the discussion on this bill in Parliament and will be present as a strong opposition against this bill in Parliament.”
He said that the entire opposition has stood against this bill at every level. Today there will be no disruption of any walkout, performance and discussion from Parliament. We will highlight all the shortcomings of this bill in Parliament and this will be a very academic discussion. “
Senior Congress leader made a statement
Senior Congress leader KC Venugopal said, “Along with India alliance, we are requesting all equal ideology parties, as the bill is clearly violated to the constitution.”
Time given for debate in Parliament
This bill, which was prepared to improve the management and administration of Waqf Board properties across India, is going to be brought to the Lok Sabha today to discuss and pass. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has allocated 8 hours to debate this bill in the Lok Sabha. However, the opposition has demanded a 10 -hour time to debate this bill. The entire opposition party has condemned this bill by calling it unconstitutional.
