How much salary does the CEO get?

According to reports, IAS or PCS officers are usually appointed as additional responsibility to the post of CEO of Waqf Board. Therefore, they are not given separate salary for this post, but they work on their original salary.

What changes have been made in the bill?

Many important changes have been proposed in the Waqf (Amendment) Bill 2025, some of which are prominent:

Non-Muslim Members: Two non-Muslim members will now be included in the State Waqf Board and the Central Waqf Council.

Women Representation: The appointment of two Muslim women in the board will now be mandatory.
