Weather forecast today: The weather patterns are changing rapidly across the country. While there is light rain in some states, there is a scorching heat in many parts. North India has seen a sharp increase in temperature in the last 2-3 days and heat is likely to increase in the coming days.

Temperature will rise in North India

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the temperature will increase further in the next two-three days in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan. There is also a possibility of heat stroke in these states, due to which people have been advised to be vigilant from the heat.

Strong winds and thunderstorms alert

IMD has warned of strong winds at a speed of 40-60 kmph in Vidarbha, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Goa, Odisha, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh during the next 24 hours. Apart from this, an alert of thunderstorms and celestial lightning has also been issued in these states.

The Meteorological Department says that the heat may increase further in the coming days, while the impact of thunderstorms will also be seen in many states. People keep an eye on the weather updates and take necessary steps for safety.

Possibility of rain and hailstorm in many states

The Meteorological Department has predicted rain and hailstorm in many states. At the same time, Kerala and Karnataka may receive heavy rains between April 3 and 6. The hilly states are expected to receive rain and snowfall for the next two days.

Weather mood can change in Uttar Pradesh

There will be an increase in temperature in Uttar Pradesh from tomorrow, although the weather will be normal at the moment. At the same time, the weather will be dry in western UP and there is no possibility of rain.

The weather will remain normal in most districts of Bihar. At present, there is no possibility of strong heat or rain. However, mild heat may increase in the next few days.

Heat will increase in Rajasthan, heat alert

According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in Rajasthan may increase further in the next few days. On April 5, there will be a change in weather in some areas. Alwar and Bharatpur are likely to receive sporadic rains. There will be a slight drop in temperature due to rain, but after this, there is a possibility of running hot winds (heat).

Temperature drop in Delhi

On Tuesday, Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 14.6 degrees Celsius, which was 4.2 degrees Celsius below normal. At the same time, the Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded in the middle category. Today (Wednesday), the maximum temperature in Delhi can reach 36 degrees Celsius. Similarly, the weather will be dry in Punjab and Haryana. There will be a feeling of mild cold in the morning. The temperature will increase in the day and the weather will be dry.

Snow alert in Himachal

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for snowfall in Himachal Pradesh. According to the department, light to moderate rains and snowfall are likely in Chamba, Kullu, Lahaul-Spiti, Kangra and Kinnaur on 3 April. Similarly, a similar weather has been estimated in Jammu and Kashmir.

Growing heat in South and West India

The temperature is being recorded at 40 degrees Celsius in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and parts of Gujarat. Alert for scorching heat has been issued in these states. At the same time, in some parts of central India, pre-monsoon is expected to be active, which can change the weather.
