3 MLC Stars Who Could Earn BIG In IPL 2026 Auction – Cricket.com

Just 10 games into the competition, it has become clear that there have been too many top performers in Major League Cricket (MLC) 2025, who could secure a big pay cheque at the IPL 2026 mini auction. 
Without wasting much time, who are the three big stars who could earn huge in the IPL 2026 Auction?

Finn Allen – San Francisco Unicorns
If there’s one name that is guaranteed to get a big pay cheque from MLC 2025, that is Finn Allen. The 26-year-old Kiwi opener has smashed the leather in the competition, with 294 runs in just four games, averaging a staggering 73.50.

But that isn’t why Allen might be in demand. It is rather because of his power-hitting skills, as the right-hander has clobbered 33 sixes in the competition, almost double that of second-placed Glenn Maxwell. 
With a lot of teams eyeing a powerful opener, Allen could be in for a treat. 

Michael Bracewell – MI New York
It was a shock when Michael Bracewell didn’t get an IPL gig even after so many injuries during the last phase of the competition last year. But he’s now continuing his dazzling display, with 105 runs in three games, at a strike rate of 156.72.

Not just that, he’s also one of the more economical bowlers in the competition, with an ER of 8.30, having picked up four wickets. Bracewell is also a handy fielder, which, in all, shows why he might be in demand. 

Matthew Short – San Francisco Unicorns
It is no secret that teams would be eyeing the tall Australian all-rounder Matthew Short. He’s already played the IPL, with Punjab Kings, and has certainly shown his prowess. Whilst he’s just played one clash thus far, he’s already shown enough in that game to warrant himself an IPL bid, and a big one.

On his MLC debut against TSK, the all-rounder smashed 61 off 29 balls, clobbering six fours and four sixes, with a strike rate of 210.34. With the ball as well, he bowled an economical spell of 0/27 in three overs.
