Fourteen players from Madhya Pradesh entered the auction. However, only five of them were sold. These players are Venkatesh Iyer, Mangesh Yadav, Akshat Raghuvanshi, Shivang Kumar and Kuldeep Sen.
Mangesh Yadav turned out to be the biggest buy among first-time IPL players. On the other hand, Venkatesh Iyer saw a sharp fall in his price. Royal Challengers Bangalore bought him for ₹7 crore, while Kolkata Knight Riders had paid ₹23.75 crore for him last season.
Mangesh Yadav has been bought by RCB for a hefty sum of 5 crore 20 lakh rupees. This year, he got the opportunity to play two matches in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, where he scored 28 runs in just one innings with an excellent strike rate of 233.33 and also took three wickets. However, Yadav’s bowling figures were not as expected, as he conceded 47 and 38 runs respectively in two matches.

Akshat scored 239 runs in four matches playing for Indore Pink Panthers in the Madhya Pradesh Premier League (MPL) 2025. He was among the select players to score a century in the tournament. He went unsold in the previous auction.
Akshat Raghuvanshi lives with his father KP Raghuvanshi and family at Sen Chauraha in Ashoknagar, where his father has a shop. Akshat picked up the bat at the age of three. Initially, he was played cricket at home.

This year, Kuldeep’s base price was set at 75 lakh. Kuldeep Sen is adept at bowling at a speed of 140 kilometers per hour. Kuldeep has played 12 IPL matches from 2018 to 2024, taking 14 wickets. However, Kuldeep has incurred a loss of 5 lakh rupees this year. Last year, Kuldeep was bought by Punjab for 80 lakh rupees.

Shivang, who plays for Bhopal Leopard, scored 120 runs and took 5 wickets in 7 matches of MPL 2025. This also includes an explosive innings of 91 runs off 42 balls. Venkatesh incurred a loss of 16.75 crore rupees this time All eyes were on Indore-based all-rounder Venkatesh Iyer in the mini-auction of the Indian Premier League 2026. It was expected that a team would buy him for an even higher amount than last time, but the result was the opposite.
