Kkr vs lsg ipl 2025 match rescheduled: The date of Kolkata Knight Riders vs Lucknow Super Giants to be held on 6 April in IPL 2025 has been changed. Now this match will be played on April 8 from 3:30 pm instead of 6 April. This will be the 19th match of IPL 2025, the date of which was kept on 6 April earlier. BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia himself has heard the news of changing the date of Kolkata-Lucknow match.

On Friday, BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia issued a statement saying, “The Kolkata Police had demanded from the Cricket Association of Bengal, in which there was a demand for security arrangements in the city on the occasion of Ram Navami. After the same demand, the Kolkata-Lucknow match will now be held at 3:30 pm on 8 April. The rest of the schedule has not been changed.”

Only one match will be held on 6 April

Before the change in the schedule of IPL 2025, two matches were to be played on 6 April i.e. Ram Navami. The match of Lucknow Super Giants and Kolkata Knight Riders was to be played in the afternoon. At the same time, the match of Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans was to be played in the evening. Since the date of the KKR-LSG match has been changed to 8 April, now only Hyderabad vs Gujarat match will be played on 6 April.

Double blast on 8 April

On one side, Kolkata-Lucknow match will now be held on 8 April afternoon. On this day, Chennai Super Kings will also be seen in action in the evening, which is going to be a fight with Punjab Kings. Let us know that Lucknow and Kolkata have so far played two matches each in IPL 2025 and both have won one by one.
