Waqf Amendment Bill: NoOn Sunday (April 6) in Shaheen Bagh area of E Delhi, a march was taken out by the BJP Minorities Front in support of the Waqf Amendment Bill 2024. The National President of the Morcha Jamal Siddiqui (Jamal Siddiqui) also attended this program.
However, in the place where permission for the padyatra was sought, permission was not received, due to which the police and RAF (Rapid Action Force) have been deployed on the spot in view of security.

Jamal Siddiqui spoke to the police officers present on the spot and appealed to maintain peace. Talking to the media, he said, “I want to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi. People of the entire Okhla want to thank him because they have enacted a good law by canceling the old robbery classes. Now the money and schemes of the Waqf Board will be used correctly, which will benefit the needy poor in education, wedding or other work.”
He further said, “We have gathered here only for thanking. We do not want any untoward incident, so we are also alert ourselves. The police is doing its work and we respect his role.”
The administration is cautious about the security system of Shaheen Bagh area since the Waqf Amendment Bill was passed by both the Houses. Monitoring is being done in the area with the help of drones and the police is keeping a close watch on every street, every corner. Security agencies are fully prepared to deal with any situation.
Please tell that Shaheen Bagh, which has been discussed for the Citizen’s anti -law (CAA) movement, is once again in the headlines. The police administration is completely cautious about this padyatra and is ready to deal with any situation. Constant dialogue between the organizers and security forces is going on for the program to be done peacefully.
