Rajasthan Royals will face off against the Chennai Super Kings in match 63 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chepauk on Monday, May 12.
The Royals beat the Super Kings by six runs in Guwahati last month to pick up their first win of the season and will be looking to do the double over CSK with another victory in Chennai.
The CSK vs RR match will start at 7:30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST).
The match against Chennai Super Kings will be Rajasthan Royals’ penultimate match and final away game of the IPL 2025 league stage.

In the 30 CSK vs RR head-to-head clashes in the IPL to date, the Royals have won 14 as opposed to 16 victories by the Chennai team.
The last meeting between the two teams was at the ACA Stadium in Guwahati earlier this season. RR won the match by six runs courtesy of Nitish Rana’s blistering 81 with the bat and Wanindu Hasaranga picking up 4/35 with the ball.
As far as RR’s record at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chepauk is concerned, the Royals have won two times and lost eight encounters.
Rajasthan Royals lost to the Chennai Super Kings by five wickets at the same venue last season.
Riyan Parag top-scored with an unbeaten 35-ball 47 as the Royals posted 141/5 before the Super Kings chased down the target in 18.2 overs with five wickets to spare.
With a capacity to hold 38,200 spectators, the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chepauk is home to the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL and hosted the final of the tournament on three occasions in 2011, 2012 and 2024.
The MA Chidambaram Stadium has hosted 91 IPL matches to date, with teams batting first emerging victorious on 52 occasions while chasing sides have won 39 times.
After the clash with CSK in Chennai, the Rajasthan Royals will play the Punjab Kings at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur in their final league match of the season on May 16.

A physical ticket is mandatory to enter the stadium. IPL tickets can be collected from the box office. The box office details, including location and timings, will be mentioned on the e-ticket.
Re-entry is not allowed. Children under two years do not require a ticket but will not be allocated a separate seat. They must be accompanied by a guardian at all times.
According to the District website, tickets for IPL matches cannot be cancelled unless the match is abandoned without a ball being bowled.
