First, it was Rahul’s turn in Bengaluru, where his unbeaten 93* handed RCB their second defeat at home. It was a homecoming for the ages with the local boy securing the game for DC with a six, which was followed by the viral Kantara celebration.
But it’s payback time now as Kohli returns to his home ground in Delhi, eager to make a statement. After Rahul’s heroics in Bengaluru and Lucknow, the final game of the ‘Revenge Week’ is set up to be a blockbuster.
As the two sides clash in the high-stakes game in Delhi, The Sporting News follows the game with live updates, scores, and highlights.Â

End of the match: RCB win by 6 wickets
RCB finished the chase in style! After a tough start where they lost early wickets, Virat Kohli and Krunal Pandya carried the innings with a 119-run partnership.
When Kohli got out — Tim David walked in and finished things quickly. He smashed a six and a few fours off Mukesh Kumar’s over to seal the win with more than an over to spare.
DC made a few mistakes in the field and with their bowling choices. RCB secures their seventh win of the season — taking them closer to the playoffs!
End of 12 overs: RCB 78/3
RCB have kept their wickets intact during this time but the scoring rate remained a concern. Vipraj Nigam conceded 12 runs in the 7th over — including a no-ball and a free-hit which gave RCB some momentum.
Kuldeep Yadav tightened things up with a tidy spell. He conceded just 19 runs in his three overs and even lost a review in frustration.
Kohli and Krunal reached a fifty-run partnership but with RCB at 78/3 after 12 overs — the asking rate kept climbing.
End of powerplay: RCB 35/3
RCB’s chase of 162 against DC has started on a shaky note. After a tight first over from Axar, Jacob Bethell attacked Starc with a six and a four in a big over.
But Axar struck back — dismissing both Bethell and Padikkal in the same over. Soon after, Karun Nair stunned Patidar with a direct-hit run out.
After six overs — RCB are 35 for 3 with Kohli and Krunal Pandya at the crease — needing a big partnership to bring them back in the game.
End of first innings:Â Delhi Capitals 162/8
It was a superb bowling performance by RCB as they kept chipping away with wickets and never let DC build any real momentum in the middle overs.Â
KL Rahul couldn’t get going and ended up scoring a slow 41 off 39 balls. RCB’s spinners, Suyash and Krunal, bowled tight spells and finished with combined figures of 8-0-50-1.
It looked like DC might not even cross 150. However, a late cameo from Tristan Stubbs brought some life back into the innings with total 36 runs coming in the 18th and 19th overs.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar was brilliant at the death and gave away just 6 runs in the final over and end with figures of 4-0-33-3. RCB will back themselves to chase 163.
End of 10 overs:Â Delhi Capitals 72/3
After a decent start in the powerplay, DC could only manage 20 runs in the next four overs and lost one more wicket. The run rate has dropped and the batters are finding it hard to score freely.
RCB’s spinners have bowled tight lines and kept things under control. In the 10th over, Krunal Pandya got the big wicket of Faf du Plessis.
At the halfway mark, DC are 72 for 3. The pressure is now on KL Rahul to anchor the innings and take DC to a competitive total, ideally above 170 on this wicket.
End of 6 overs:Â Delhi Capitals 52/2
Delhi got an explosive start as Porel hit a four on the very first ball and played aggressively. He scored 28 runs off just 11 balls with the help of two sixes and giving DC a strong start.
However, Hazlewood came into the attack and dismissed Porel in his first over. After that, the run flow slowed down. Nair also got out trying to hit a big shot.
At the end of 6 overs, DC are 52 for 2, with Faf du Plessis on 14 and KL Rahul on 4. Hazlewood bowled well, taking 1 wicket for just 12 runs in his 2 overs.
